Visitors from the East (Toronto Area) can visit Welland by taking the Q.E.W. (exit 49) to St. Catharines, then continue south on Highway 406.

To travel to Downtown Welland for events such as Days on the Island and Grand Parade, take Highway 406 to its ending point. This cross street is East Main Street, turn right and continue along East Main Street to arrive in Downtown Welland.

Visitors from the United States who are entering via the Fort Erie-Buffalo Peace Bridge should take Highway 3 (Garrison Road) from Fort Erie to Port Colborne and then take Highway 140 North to Welland. This will take you to East Main Street on the West side of the Welland Canal Tunnel. Turn left onto East Main Street, continue through the tunnel and proceed along East Main Street to arrive in Downtown Welland.

Estimated Travel Time from Peace Bridge is 30 minutes.
