Greater Niagara Circle RouteDue to construction being performed to expand Highway 406, part of the Welland Canal Trail,
known as the Greater Niagara Circle Route, on the west side of the Welland Recreational Waterway, in the vicinity of Highway 406 between Egerter Road in Thorold and west of Highway 406, will be closed from July 16 until the construction on Highway 406 concludes in the fall 2013. |

Merritt Island TrailThe Merritt Island Trail is currently closed between the Woodlawn Road overpass to the Highway 406 overpass. Please note that access to Woodlawn Road on the east side of the Welland Recreational Waterway is currently unavailable however access to Woodlawn Road on the west side remains open.. |
